If you're visiting Sydney, or just want to party hard during Bear Essentials, we're offering a limited number of party passes that contains the tickets you'll need for the main events.

Party Passes go on sale at the same time as individual tickets.
If you prefer a more sedate Bear Essentials, you can buy tickets to all events individually. Browse the event list, and follow the links to buy tickets!
There are also some ticketed events that aren't in the party pack, so you'll want to grab tickets for them too.
Members will be able to buy tickets from Midday on 17 December 2023, while kindred and non-members will have access from Midday on 18 December 2023, both in Australian Eastern Daylight Timezone (UTC+11).

For our overseas visitors, we have international memberships available. You get all the same great benefits as a local member, at a reduced price.
If you're attending several events, then the difference in prices between members & non-members is more than enough to cover the membership fee.
Member prices are only available to HCB members, so please ensure your guest is also a member if you're buying member-price tickets. We will be checking, and if the guest is a non-member, both the member and the guest tickets will be cancelled.
This also applies to kindred club tickets. You'll need the secret password from your club to purchase tickets at kindred prices, and if you're buying a guest ticket, the guest must be a kindred club member too.
If you're buying tickets for non-members, please buy them under their own name and email address, rather than under your own. This is in place to prevent scalping.
In order to keep things fair, you can purchase two tickets: one ticket for yourself and one for a guest. If you need more tickets, please have your extra guest(s) buy the tickets themselves.
If you buy a guest ticket, you will receive only one ticket that will allow 2 entries- so please arrive at the event together. If you're arriving separately, please also buy tickets separately.
Scalping and reselling will not be tolerated, and anyone found to be buying tickets for resale will have the tickets cancelled with no refund.
We want you to have a good time, and sometimes you can't make it to an event. Harbour City Bears allows cancellation and full refund of tickets up to the day before an event. The only exception to this is the Yum Cha Brunch, as we need to finalise numbers with the restaurant 7 days before the event
For all the other events, let us know by emailing us, or contacting us on Facebook Messenger and we'll cancel you ticket and send a refund back to the original payment card. We'll then release your ticket to the next person on the wait-list for that event.
If you want to transfer your ticket to someone else, we can do that too, up to the day before an event. We'd prefer you go through us to transfer your ticket, so we can prevent scalping and reselling.
To transfer your ticket to a friend, email us or message us on Facebook Messenger and we'll cancel your ticket and issue a refund, and then allocate your ticket to your friend. We'll need their name and email address, and we'll send them an email on how to pay.
Bear Essentials, Mardi Gras and its associated events are very popular, and so the headline events are expected to sell out well in advance.
Our ticketing system has a "waitlist" feature, so if the event you want to attend is sold out, add yourself to the waitlist and if someone cancels their ticket before the event, we'll allocate the newly available ticket to the first person on the wait-list.
If you add yourself plus a guest to the waitlist together, we'll only allocate a ticket if we have both available. So if you want to make sure you and your guest are both in or out, then add yourself together. If you want to go whether or not your guest can make it, add yourselves singly.
If a ticket becomes available, we'll send you an email to notify you, and also with details on how to pay. You have 3 days to make payment, or the ticket will be re-allocated to the next person on the waitlist. In the weeks leading up to Bear Essentials, we'll be a bit flexible with this timing if you let us know. So if you need to wait for payday, please contact us and let us know, and we'll hold your ticket a little bit longer.
Closer to the event dates, there'll be less time available- so tickets will be re-allocated after 2 days from 1 February 2024 until the start of Bear Essentials (18 February). Once Bear Essentials is running, you'll have until 11am the day after the allocation, or midday on the day of the event, whichever is sooner.
