For those who are new to Bear Essentials, it's Sydney's premier Bear festival held alongside the legendary Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we're anchoring down a treasure trove of unforgettable events.

Harbour City Bears is Sydney's only community group for bears - hairy gay men - our admirers and friends. We welcome diversity and accept all people regardless of size, hair, age, gender, race or religion. Currently we have over 1300 members making us the largest Bear association in the Southern Hemisphere, and one of the largest in the world! We hold over 150 events each year, all community run and not-for-profit.
